Plaster Painting and Craft Parties
We offer a range of different party packages at The Magic Fairy Tree to suit different tastes and budgets.
All of our parties are designed by us to maximise children's crafting and painting pleasure. We have teamed some of our party themes with popular stories and added achievable craft to encourage or foster children's creativity and confidence.
Parties usually last around 1.5 hours. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink for your party. We can supply a tablecloth, plastic beakers and small plates. We provide smocks but do recommend old clothes.
We have laid faux grass in a 50m2 area of the studio which we have themed as our forest park, with a mural of a woodland forest scene on the back wall. There are picnic tables, toys and a chalk table for scribbling. You are welcome to bring a pass the parcel or other party games if you wish and configure the area how you prefer for your party.
We ask a minimum number of 7 for any of our parties. Our studio is spacious with different sized tables that can be configured for up to 30 painters
We usually book parties at 10am, 12.30pm or 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays but we can work with your schedule if you prefer a different time. Our Party Packages
Fairy Garden Pot - Fairy Party
$22.50
Our fairy garden party starts with a fairy story then the children move to the craft tables where they paint a clay pot. We then fill the pot with compost and add a plant. The children then paint a toadstool with a fairy, a ladybug pick, a butterfly pick and a flower pick. Choose to add a fairy door to the pot for $25.
Suitable for ages 3 to 10. Boys may wish to paint our dinosaur pot version instead.
Fairy Garden Pot Party with Fairy Craft
$25 to $30
Our fairy garden pot party starts with a fairy story then the children move to the craft tables where they start by making some fairy craft. Choose to make a fairy flower crown ($25), or a fairy wand ($25) or both for $27.50. Then the children paint a clay pot. We then fill the pot with compost and add a plant. The children then paint a toadstool with a fairy, a ladybug pick, a butterfly pick and a flower pick. Choose to add a fairy door to the pot for an extra $2.50.
Suitable for ages 3 to 10. Boys may wish to paint our dinosaur pot version instead.
Rainbow Unicorn Pot
$22.50
Our rainbow unicorn pot party starts with a unicorn story (The Princess and the Unicorn for younger children or The Seventh Unicorn for older children). Then the children move to the craft tables where they start by painting a clay pot and a fairy door and then we fill the pot with compost and scatter a mix of seeds. The children then paint a rainbow plaster on a pick which sits at the back of the pot and a unicorn plaster. As the seeds germinate and grow, the idea is that the unicorn will sit in a field of grass and flowers.
Suitable for children ages 3 to 10. Boys may wish to paint our dinosaur pot version instead.

Fairy Craft Parties
$20 or $22.50
We start with a fairy story. Then the children move to the craft tables where they make either a fairy flower crown or a fairy wand ($20) or both ($22.50). Then they paint a fairy plaster and choose one other plaster from our party range.
Suitable for ages 4 to 10.
Mermaid Craft Party
$20 or $22.50
We start with a mermaid story (The Singing Mermaid or The Mermaid Princess). Then the children move to the craft tables where they make a mermaid crown. The children paint a mermaid plaster then choose one other plaster from our party range. Older children can also choose to make a mermaid figurine ($25).
Suitable for ages 4 to 10. Boys may wish to replace the crown with a dinosaur mask or a crown and the mermaid with a dinosaur.
Mermaid Plate
$22.50 to $27.50
Our mermaid party starts with a mermaid story (The Singing Mermaid or the Mermaid Princess). Choose to make a mermaid crown and the mermaid plate for $25 or just the plate for $22.50. For older children we can also include a mermaid figurine to make for $27.50.
The mermaid plate is a clay plate that the children paint and then add a range of mermaid and sea-themed plasters (mermaid, dolphin, seahorse, fishes, shells etc).
Suitable for ages 5 to 12. Boys may prefer to replace the mermaid plasters with either pirates or dinosaurs.
Princess Craft
$20 or $22.50
The party starts with a princess story (The Princess and the Wizard). Then the children move to the craft tables where they start by making a crown ($22.50). You can also choose to include a wand to make ($25). Then the children paint a princess plaster and choose one other plaster from our party range.
Suitable for ages 3 to 8.
Dinosaur Pot
$22.50
Our dinosaur pot is popular with boys (and girls). It can be chosen for boys attending the fairy or unicorn parties if desired.
Paint a pot, fill with soil and add a plant. Paint dinosaur plasters and picks and dinosaur eggs.
Suitable for ages 3 to 10.
Unicorn Craft Party
$20
We start with a unicorn story (either the Princess and the Unicorn for younger children or The Seventh Unicorn for older children). Then the children move to the craft tables to make a unicorn headpiece and paint a unicorn plaster. The children then choose another plaster from our party range
Suitable for children from ages 4 to 10. Boys may wish to make a dragon mask and paint a dragon plaster instead.
Craft Parties - Room on the Broom
$20
We start with the story, Room on the Broom. Then the children move to the craft tables to make a witch and a wand and then to paint a plaster dragon. The children then choose another plaster from our party range.
Suitable for ages 4 to 10.
Craft Parties - The Rainbow Fish
$20
We start with the story, The Rainbow Fish. Then the children move to the craft tables where they make a paper / card rainbow fish and paint a plaster fish. They then choose another plaster to paint from our party range.
Suitable for ages 3 to 8
Craft Parties - Where is the Green Sheep?
$20
We start with a story, Where is the Green Sheep? Then the children move to the craft tables where they make a paper plate sheep and paint a plaster sheep. The children then choose another plaster from our party range.

Frozen Party
$20
Our Frozen party starts with making a Frozen crown. Then the children paint a plaster of Elsa and Anna. The children also choose one other plaster from our party range. Suitable for ages 3 to 8
